Dick is widely known as ‘the man who saved Brighton & Hove Albion’. Following a successful career in advertising, he became Chairman of the club in 1997 and was appointed Life President in 2009.
As Chairman, he was instrumental in taking then homeless BHAFC from the bottom of League 2 to the Championship, en route to the Premier League.
He led the 10 year battle for the club’s iconic new stadium, the Amex, and was responsible for transforming BHAFC into a respected multi-award winning community club.
